In line with the Declaration No. 2, s. of 2024 of Mayor Freddie Siao, Declaring Suspension of Classes in Public and Private Schools in all Levels and Suspension of Work in the City Government of Iligan including the 44 Barangays within the Jurisdiction of Iligan City on 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

It is in observance of the "𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨𝐠," which is an annual religious event celebrated by the devotees-residents of Iligan City and the patron saint of Iligan City, St. Michael the Archangel.
